Valuation & Accounting Professional

Mirma Fadjarwati Malik is a Certified Public Business Appraiser (MAPPI-Cert) and senior professional with over thirty years of experience in business valuation, valuation review, investment analysis, and sustainability consulting across the financial, industrial, and energy sectors. She is officially registered with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia  and is recognized for her professional integrity, analytical expertise, and commitment to upholding the Indonesian Valuation Standards (SPI) and international valuation practices.

Ms. Malik holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pittsburg State University, Kansas, United States (1994), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (1988). Her educational background, combining engineering and business management, provides a strong foundation for analyzing the economic performance of enterprises, financial assets, and investment projects.

Currently serving as Public Appraiser and Reviewer at Kantor Jasa Penilai Publik (KJPP) Erick, Rikarnadi & Rekan, Ms. Malik manages professional assignments in business valuation, financial asset valuation, valuation report reviews, and investment feasibility studies across multiple industries. As a reviewer, she ensures that all reports comply with principles of independence, objectivity, methodological consistency, and transparency.

In addition to her valuation expertise, Ms. Malik possesses a deep understanding of greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, carbon credit mechanisms, and carbon economic valuation. Through her recent work with Yayasan Bina Usaha Lingkungan and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), she has provided advisory services for climate-related projects and carbon market initiatives, focusing on quantifying environmental impact and integrating sustainability metrics into economic valuation frameworks.

Her prior leadership roles include Director of Operations at PT Surveyor Indonesia, overseeing six strategic business units and fourteen branches, and Member of the Investment and Risk Management Committee of the Board of Commissioners at PT Pertamina EP, where she advised on investment and risk mitigation in the energy sector.

Ms. Malik has also represented Indonesia as a speaker at the ASEAN Valuers Association (AVA) Congress and the World Valuation Congress, presenting on valuation practices and professional competency development. With her combined expertise in valuation, sustainability, and carbon economics, she is regarded as a distinguished expert committed to advancing transparency, accountability, and innovation in the valuation profession.
